PROMOCIONES SOTAVENTO, SA was established in 1986. This hotel was built with the ultimate aim of supporting the countless tourists who come to Fuerteventura attracted by its incredible climate and endless leisure activities. One of the main values of PROMOCIONES SOTAVENTO, SA is transparency, which is why we publish information on both our management and the economic results obtained. Furthermore, in compliance with the State Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance and the Canary Islands Law 12/2014, of 26 December, on transparency and access to public information, which affects us according to Article 3, as a private entity that receives aid or subsidies, in an amount exceeding 60,000 euros, charged to the Budget of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, to finance its activities and ordinary operation.

This commitment to transparency is defined in our Transparency Policy, updated and ratified at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on the second of June two thousand and twenty. It is developed through our Transparency Process, and is analysed annually in our report on compliance with the Canary Islands Transparency Law.

The body responsible, within the organisation, for ensuring the transparency of the organisation and in charge of complying with the information obligations established in the law, is the Management-Directorate.
